The Welcomingweek (OntvangstWeek in Dutch, or short: OWee) is the best way to start your student life in Delft! The OWee is a welcoming week for all arriving students of the TU Delft , Hogeschool INHolland and the Haagse Hogeschool. This year the OWee starts on August 22 and ends on August 25. In four days, we will show you everything you will need for a successful student life!
Every day another part of the student life will be shown to you. The OWee board organizes, together with other student organizations, a spectacular program for you! This program consists concerts, an information market, student societies, sport, culture, politics, and of course enough parties. You will get to know a lot of new people and get the opportunity to participate in all these activities! So whether you are from France, the United States of America or from India, whether you are enrolled at Aerospace Engineering or at Civil Engineering, the OWee is there for everybody, it is there for YOU!

How does the OWee work?
You will experience the OWee in a group of ten fellow students of the same study and two senior students (mentors), who will guide you through the OWee. In these 4 days you will be introduced to everything Delft could offer you. You will be guided through all activities during this week, which are especially organized for you. These activities vary from an informative show about the facilities of the TU Delft, to workshops about sports and culture and to spectacular parties at night, which are organized by the student societies.

The mentors are senior students who know their way around Delft. With their experience and wisdom they will guide you through Delft.
